Meeting-requiem on occasion of Victory Day held in Bishkek

Bishkek hosts a meeting-requiem on the occasion of the 77^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Veterans of the World War II, widows, homefront workers and representatives of the capital’s City Hall gathered on Victory Square.

Military personnel of the Bishkek garrison of the Ministry of Defense, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security, as well as cadets of the Military Institute, the Military Lyceum named after Dair Asanov and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs solemnly marched across the square.

The President Sadyr Japarov, Speaker Talant Mamytov, ex-president Sooronbai Jeenbekov, chairmen of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts, ministers and other government officials participate in the event.
