Bishkek hosts Muras football tournament with participation of President

The team of the presidential office headed by Sadyr Japarov participates in Muras friendly football tournament today.

The event was organized at the initiative of the Kyrgyz Football Union and the Presidential Executive Office.

Opening the tournament, the head of state recalled that last year Kyrgyzstan celebrated the 100^th anniversary of Kyrgyz football and held a friendly football tournament, after which it was decided to hold such events twice a year.

«As people say, sport is a source of health, an ambassador of peace. Ambassadors of other countries are participating in the tournament today. This speaks of our unity and harmony,» Sadyr Japarov said.

He wished the best to win and urged the tournament participants to make every effort to achieve victory.
