Data centers to become trend in Kyrgyzstan

Different data centers will soon become a trend in Kyrgyzstan. Ruslan Pushilin, owner of a group of companies engaged in supply of equipment in the IT sector, told at a press conference in Bishkek.

He noted that the main problem of the CIS market to date is a delay in construction of IT objects. However, he is sure that the future belongs to data processing centers (DPCs).

«Everyone says different things about them. Some even think it’s a mining farm. But in fact, a DPC is a facility for IT infrastructure. At least 11 data centers have been built so far in Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan cannot avoid this trend, too,» Ruslan Pushilin said.

Cyber security expert Mikhail Pribochiy, in turn, noted that entrepreneurs should pay attention to complex protection systems in order to save business. This is especially true for the financial sector. After all, hackers can steal or extort money. Moreover, laws in the sphere of cyber security are also important.
