Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev held a meeting on the development of civil aviation. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant government agencies and domestic airlines.
The Minister of Transport and Communications Erkinbek Osoev informed about the ongoing work. Director of the Department of Civil Aviation Alexander Nastaev noted the need to develop light aviation to increase the number of domestic flights, as well as training of personnel in the field of civil aviation.
Bakyt Torobaev set the task for the ministry to prepare a draft decision on the adoption of a state program for the development of light aviation to increase the number of domestic flights, train relevant personnel and improve the infrastructure of domestic airports.
It was noted that the number of domestic flights will be increased in the near future. Bakyt Torobaev also instructed the agency to step up work to withdraw domestic airlines from the list with a ban on flights to the countries of the European Union.
