Pakistan is interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzindustriya OJSC informed 24.kg news agency.
According to the company, it was discussed at the Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan Investment and Trade International Forum. It was attended by representatives of state, industrial, trade and logistics spheres of both countries. The Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Islamabad and Lahore expressed interest in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
Representatives of Kyrgyzindustriya presented several promising projects at the forum — production of basalt fiber and wollastonite, construction of gypsum plant and small hydropower plants, solar power plants and wind power stations.
Bilateral meetings with potential partners in terms of investments were held. Its participants discussed establishment of joint ventures, supply of equipment. Preliminary agreements were reached with industrial, logistics, construction and trade companies of Pakistan.
