The ministry submitted amendments to the laws on Electronic and Postal Communications, on Licensing and Permitting System in the Kyrgyz Republic for public discussion. The proposals have drawn criticism.
As a result, it was decided that the identification will be carried out by an authorized body, which will determine the requirements for gadgets imported into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Identification, as officials noted, «will have a positive impact on the fight against smuggling of goods into the country and help bring the economy out of the shadows.»
