President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed decrees on conferment of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic and renunciation of it. Press service of the head of state reported.
Five of them are decrees on conferment of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic for 1,507 people (1,173 adults, 334 children), most of whom are the ethnic Kyrgyz who returned to their historical homeland.
One presidential decree is on renunciation of the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic of 157 people (128 adults and 29 children).
There are applications for 1,664 people (1,301 adults and 363 children) in total.
