A number of bilateral documents were signed within the framework of the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Azerbaijan. Press service of the head of state reported.
The documents were adopted to build up the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation.
Sadyr Japarov and the Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev signed a Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Azerbaijan and a Memorandum on the establishment of an Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
In addition, the following documents were signed:
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Azerbaijan on air traffic;
- Agreement between the Ministries of Agriculture on cooperation;
- Memorandum of understanding and cooperation between Ministries of Finance;
- Memorandum on the development of cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies between the Ministries of Digital Development;
- Memorandum of cooperation between the Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Control over the Consumer Market of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of intellectual property protection;
- Memorandum of cooperation between the Academies of Public Administration;
- Agreement on cooperation between the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC.
