Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov is in Washington (USA) on a working visit. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The Cabinet attaches great importance to development of renewable energy sources, environmental protection, implementation of projects in the field of safe energy and preservation of ecological balance, including agreements reached during the Climate Summit of world leaders in Glasgow.
Akylbek Japarov will take part in the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund and hold a series of meetings in the framework of the 30th anniversary of cooperation of Kyrgyzstan with the World Bank. A wide range of issues will be discussed at the meetings, including the development of economy and renewable energy sources, attraction of investments into the energy sector and construction of small hydropower stations and Kambarata-1 hydropower station.
The official delegation also includes the Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev and the Minister of Justice Ayaz Baetov.
