Kyrgyz entrepreneurs will fly and transport goods to Iran with significant discounts. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The agreements were reached at the meeting of the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Roman Kasymov with the Commercial Director of one of the Iranian airlines Mohammad Khodakarami.
The cost of freight transportation from Bishkek to Mashhad for members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is almost halved and will be $1.3 per kilogram instead of $2. The price of air tickets for business delegations from the Chamber of Commerce will be reduced to $70 per passenger, which equals $250 one way and $410 round trip.
The Iranian airline intends to operate Mashhad — Bishkek flight weekly. Previously, the route was available to Kyrgyzstanis only once a month.
In 2021, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic entered into an agreement with Iran on the establishment of a joint business committee to step up bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The number of members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is over 1,200 companies and individual entrepreneurs.
