Prayers for peace around the world were held in all mosques across Kyrgyzstan, the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It was noted that the Supreme Mufti of the Kyrgyz Republic, Abdulaziz kary Zakirov, offered prayers for global peace, the safety of the Ummah, and the integrity of the homeland.
At the initiative of the leadership of the Muslim community of the Kyrgyz Republic, prayers for unity and harmony within the Islamic Ummah, as well as for the elimination of misunderstanding, hostility and discord among Islamic communities, will be recited in all mosques throughout the holy month of Ramadan, the statement says.
