Drastic modernization of education will take place at all levels of the educational system starting from 2022 and 2023-2024 academic years. Kut Bilim reports.
According to it, there are nine main points that await changes.
«First of all, the 12-year education model will be introduced. A draft has already been developed, but there are some details that are related to financing. The state standard is also focused on 12-year education, which implies education of 6-7-year-old children who are undergoing pre-school training. The need for this step is caused by the fact that 2 percent of preschool children across the country do not receive preschool education. This is an equalization of the educational level of children,» the statement says.
Subject standards will also completely update the content of education. The curricula will be reviewed, updated and developed in a different format from September 2022.
The basic curriculum will contain a list of core subjects, as well as five profiles, which schools will choose in their basic educational program.
Earlier, the Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev said that children would go to the first grade at the age of six instead of seven, zero grade will be abolished. Then, in his opinion, «we will comply with world standards».
