Two policemen were detained for drug trafficking in Osh city. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
It is noted that a 40-year-old police lieutenant colonel, who is the chief of the Organized Crime Control Department of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs, and a 24-year-old junior inspector of the 4th platoon of the Department of the Patrol Police Service, were detained at 03.15 a.m. on April 2 while stashing a drug weighting 1 kilogram.
The fact was registered under Article 282 «Illegal manufacturing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues with the intent to sell» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
