Students were taken into custody for sale of drugs in Bishkek. The press service of the Interior Ministry reported.
According to it, a 17-year-old guy and an 18-year-old girl received orders via Telegram channel from the so-called curator. Their work was to create «stashes» on the territory of Bishkek and Chui region.
Employees of the State Service on Drug Control found the places of stashes. They found more than 20 bundles, inside which there was a white crumbly substance with a specific odor of α-pyrrolidinovalerophenone, α-PVP. The total weight of the seized drugs reached 24 grams.
Criminal cases were initiated under Articles 282 «Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues with the purpose of sale» and 180 «Involvement of a child in the commission of a crime» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained 17-year-old was placed in pre-trial detention center No. 14 in Voznesenovka village, and the girl was taken to the pretrial detention center 1 in Bishkek.
Investigative measures are being conducted to identify persons who recruit young people through Telegram.
