The junior national football team of Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of a head coach Gulbara Umatalieva took the third place at the CAFA U-18 Women’s Championship, which was held in Tashkent. Official page of the organization on Instagram reports.
The team of Iran took the 1st place, Uzbekistan – the 2nd.
Football players from Kyrgyzstan defeated the national team of Tajikistan with a score 1-0, played in a tie with a team from Uzbekistan – 1-1 and lost to the team of Iran – 1-2.
Kyrgyzstanis also received the Fair Play Award.
