At least 600 ethnic Kyrgyz have received citizenship of Kyrgyzstan since June 2021. Director of the Department of Registration of Population and Civil Status Acts Eliza Esenalieva told at a press conference.
«Since June 21 last year, we have been able to accept about 2,000 applications for citizenship. About 600 ethnic Kyrgyz were able to receive citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic,» she said.
Eliza Esenalieva noted that mobile groups continue to operate from February 3 to March 23, where employees of Infocom state enterprise and the Department of Registration of Population and Civil Status Acts go to the places of residence of ethnic Kyrgyz, consult and accept documents.
