Almazbek Beishenaliev re-appointed as Minister of Education and Science

Almazbek Beishenaliev repeatedly became the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decree was signed by the President Sadyr Japarov.

According to the press service of the head of state, Almazbek Beishenaliev was appointed an Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and relieved of his previous positions.

The Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov introduced the new appointee to the staff of the central office of the ministry.

Almazbek Beishenaliev previously held this position. He worked as a Minister of Education and Science in Ulukbek Maripov’s government. He is a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, speaks foreign languages and worked abroad.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers set a number of tasks for Almazbek Beishenaliev to improve the quality of education, prepare a competitive generation and conduct effective reforms at all levels of the education system. Akylbek Japarov stressed that in order to implement important reforms in education sphere, it is necessary to actively introduce information and communication technologies in accordance with modern requirements, revise existing educational programs and create all conditions for quality education.

He also told ministry’s officials that the most large-scale increase in salaries of employees of the public sector of the country is planned in April with the first priority on teachers.

According to information received by 24.kg news agency, Bolotbek Kupeshev was relieved of his post of the Minister of Education and Science for health reasons.
