Four girls attempted to commit suicide in Kara-Balta city. The Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The fact was registered in the police department of Zhaiyl district.
It turned out that 23-year-old, 34-year-old, 26-year-old and 25-year-old girls were taken to the hospital on January 19 with a preliminary diagnosis: «drug overdose, suicide attempt.»
According to law enforcement officers, they all lived together. The circumstances of the incident are investigated.
According to unconfirmed reports, local residents accused the girls of prostitution. Unable to withstand the censure, they tried to commit suicide.
