Over the past month, the gross international reserves have grown by $30.45 million. The figure increased by $169.45 million for a year. The highest level of reserves was registered in September 2021 — $3,241.14 billion.
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan uses the reserves to smooth out sharp fluctuations in the foreign exchange market. It conducted 15 interventions last year, selling $698.95 million.
