Deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Bekeshev told on his Facebook page what gift his colleagues presented to the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
According to him, the deputies of the 6th convocation adopted a number of laws and regulations at the end of their work, in particular, amendments to the Budget Code, which deprive Parliament of full control over the use of budget funds and increase the President’s Fund to 2 percent of the republican budget revenues.
In 2022, it is planned that the republican budget will amount to 281 billion soms, and the president will be able to independently manage 2.8 billion soms.

In addition, the deputies made amendments to the constitutional law on the parliamentary rules. According to them, if a deputy from a single-mandate constituency enters a deputy group, he or she will not be able to leave it. Withdrawal from the deputy group will entail revocation of the mandate.
