A textile cluster will be created at the premises of the former Kara-Balta carpet plant in Kyrgyzstan. The Agency for Investment and Development reported.
It is planned to open a new textile factory in 2022 jointly with an investor from Turkey. The investor has already invested $ 400,000 in the project. Its total cost is estimated at $ 25 million.
«The future enterprise is unique in its industry sector due to the cluster approach, as it provides for waste-free production by processing waste from finished textile fabric into threads and further materials for fabrics,» the agency said.
