Kyrgyzstan and Serbia intend to develop economic cooperation

Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held a bilateral meeting with his Serbian counterpart Nikola Selakovic on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The parties discussed topical issues of development of bilateral cooperation.

Nikola Selakovic stated that he was ready to visit Kyrgyzstan in 2022 in order to build up bilateral cooperation.

Ruslan Kazakbaev, noting the importance of expansion of legal framework between the countries, submitted various draft agreements, as well as a draft roadmap for cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Serbia for 2022-2025, to the Serbian side for consideration.

The parties also expressed interest in the development of economic cooperation, including taking into account the transport projects implemented in the region.
