Deputies formed a commission to strip the deputies Asylbek Jeenbekov, Torobai Zulpukarov and Bakytbek Zhetigenov of their immunity.
Vice Speaker Aida Kasymalieva noted that the commission should decide the issue of giving consent to prosecution of the deputies within a month.
The commission includes members of the factions of SDPK — Evgenia Strokova, Respublika — Ata Zhurt — Avazabek Abdugaparov, Kyrgyzstan — Kanat Isaev and Almazbek Toktorov, Onuguu-Progress — Tazabek Ikramov, Bir Bol — Mamasadyk Bakirov, Ata Meken — Emil Toktoshev.
Asylbek Jeenbekov and Torobai Zulpukarov are defendants in the criminal case on Kumtor. They were detained in June.
Bakytbek Zhetigenov is suspected of attempt to seize power; he was arrested in November. All three deputies were placed in the remand prison of the State Committee for National Security.
