Passengers arriving from countries where infection with a new Omicron coronavirus strain have been detected are prohibited from entering Kyrgyzstan. Manas International Airport JSC reported.
Requirement for mandatory PCR testing (within the last 72 hours) is introduced when entering the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic from December 2. To enter the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign citizens and Kyrgyzstanis will need to undergo and have a negative result of PCR test for coronavirus infection before arrival in the country, regardless of the vaccination status.
«Passengers from countries where foci of infection with the new Omicron strain are detected will be prohibited from entering the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The list of such countries has been sent to the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic,» the company noted.
Cases of infection with the new variant of coronavirus have been registered to date in Spain, Israel, Morocco, Japan, as well as in some countries of Asia and Europe, including Portugal.
