Netflix company shot a film in Kyrgyzstan. UNDP reports.
According to the organization, a film crew from the Netherlands visited the country. The documentary, commissioned by Netflix, is about cultural diversity of 30 countries of the world — Kyrgyzstan will be represented by the national salbuurun hunt.
The release is planned on the platform in 2022 and the film will be screened in over 150 countries. More than a billion viewers will be able to watch the episode about Kyrgyzstan.
«Thanks to the film, people from all over the planet will be able to get acquainted with Kyrgyz traditions, rich culture of nomads and learn more about our country. The initiative is part of the Central Asia Trade Facilitation Project implemented with the support of the government of Finland,» the statement says.
