Development of feasibility study for Halal Meat Park starts in Kyrgyzstan

Development of a feasibility study for Halal Meat Park project has begun in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported.

A contract with representatives of the consortium of the Kyrgyz-Malaysian corporation the Chambers Shamsul Qamar and HalNex Sdn Bhd was signed at the ministry yesterday.

The project is funded by the Islamic Development Bank, the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector in Kyrgyzstan. The contract amount is $390,000. The money will be spent on field research and logistics costs.

The Halal Park is an industrial zone where fixed and circulating assets are located, participating in the production and processing of meat and meat products, as well as dairy products (milk, cheese, cottage cheese). Breeding plants, feedlots for cattle and small cattle, quarantine blocks for pre-slaughter veterinary examination, freezers for meat and dairy products, shops for skin and wool processing, as well as production shops will be located on its territory.
