The issue of increasing the period of visa-free stay from 90 to 180 days on a parity basis was discussed with the Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov told reporters, following the results of the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission.
According to him, the idea was voiced to create favorable conditions for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. In addition, the parties discussed reduction of the cost of work permits for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey on a parity basis.
«We are pleased to note the agreements reached during the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkish Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. I am sure that the results of this meeting will become another important step towards strengthening bilateral fraternal relations,» Ulukbek Maripov concluded.
