The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained employees of the State Tax Service for taking a bribe. Press center of the state committee reported.
The tax officers received 240,000 soms as a reward for assistance in tax evasion.
«The deputy head of the State Tax Service Department for Sverdlovsky district of Bishkek and an inspector of the State Tax Service Department for Leninsky district were detained. These officials, in collusion with individual businessmen, understated tax deductions on imported consumer goods into Kyrgyzstan for a long time, using fraudulent documents. The detainees were placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security,» the state committee said.
