Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 9.4 million people globally

The number of people infected with novel coronavirus has grown by 166,680 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.

In total, 9,407,078 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (2,380,490), Brazil (1,188,631), Russia (606,043), India (456,183), the UK (308,336), Peru (264,689) and Chile (264,689).

Coronavirus cases have been reported in 188 countries.

As of today, the number of people who recovered from coronavirus exceeds 4,700,000. The figure grew by 115,454 people for a day.

At least 482,162 people died from the virus (growth by 5,217 people since Wednesday morning), including 121,969 people — in the USA, 53,830— in Brazil, 43,165— in the UK, 34,644— in Italy, and 29,734— in France.

At least 3,954 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 18,765 cases — in Kazakhstan, 6,901 — in Uzbekistan, 5,630 — in Tajikistan.
