Another patient infected with COVID-19 has been discharged from hospital after recovery in Balykchi today. Press service of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The 25-year-old man arrived in Kyrgyzstan on May 4 from Moscow. His initial rapid tests were negative, but PCR analysis showed a positive result. The man was transferred from observation unit to the Infectious Diseases Department of the Balykchi City Hospital.
«Repeated PCR test showed negative result. According to the algorithm of the Ministry of Health, the man was placed in home quarantine. Earlier, 14 infected with coronavirus were registered in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. All of them have been discharged after recovery,» the press service said.
The number of infected with COVID-19 as of June 3 rose to 1,871 people in Kyrgyzstan. At least 1,265 of them have recovered, 20 have died.
