Coronavirus was confirmed in eight healthcare workers at the Family Medicine Center No. 3 in Bishkek. The head of the Healthcare Department of Bishkek City Hall Baktygul Ismailova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the rest of the employees are in home quarantine.
«They were examined; they have negative results. Everyone who has no conditions for isolation at home was offered to go to Garden Hotel,» she said.
Baktygul Ismailova added that the doctors from the capital’s FMCs involved in anti-epidemic measures are regularly tested.
Recall, the Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a briefing yesterday that three medical workers of FMC No. 3 tested positive for coronavirus.
This is not the first case of the infection in employees of the Family Medicine Centers. Earlier, coronavirus was confirmed in eight doctors of FMC No. 17.
The number of medical workers infected with COVID-19 has reached 180. Some of them have already recovered.
