Attempt to smuggle batteries into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union was suppressed in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The State Customs Service reported.
Customs officers detained a heavy truck Renault Premium in Batken. When inspecting the cargo compartment of the vehicle, they found used batteries with a total weight of 22 tons.
«The cost of goods is estimated at 961,895 soms. Batteries were smuggled into Kyrgyzstan from a neighboring state. Materials on the case were sent to the prosecutor’s office of Batken region,» the message says.
