Energy facilities in Kyrgyzstan are being prepared for floods. National Electric Network of the Kyrgyz Republic OJSC reports.
Flood control work is planned at 27 substations and 29 high-voltage line poles.
At present, mudflow-prone sites are being inspected. In particular, this applies to power transmission lines near large rivers.
Special equipment and rapid response teams are ready for the high-water period. Forces of the Emergency Situations Ministry can be attracted in case of abnormal situations.
