Foreign drivers who violated traffic rules in Kyrgyzstan will be fined at the state border. Acting head of the Main Traffic Safety Department Ymanaly Sarkulov announced at a visiting session of the parliamentary committee on transport, communications, construction and architecture.
According to him, cameras can read foreign number plates of vehicles.
«There is a single external migration registration system in the State Border Service. We propose to include vehicles in it. If a foreign driver violates traffic rules, he or she will get into the database, and they must pay a fine at the border. It is planned to install special terminals for payment of fines at the checkpoints,» Ymanaly Sarkulov said.
