The Government of Kyrgyzstan, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Supreme Court must create an interdepartmental commission to amend the new codes. The decision was made at a joint meeting of two parliamentary committees — on constitutional legislation, state structure, judicial, legal issues and regulations, and on the rule of law and the fight against crime.
Deputies gave the government time until March 1.
The deputies rejected the proposal to consider the responsibility of some individuals for failure of preparation for the introduction of new codes.
