Social Fund transfers managing of insurance premiums to Tax Service

By the resolution of the Government of Kyrgyzstan, managing of insurance premiums will be transferred from the Social Fund to the State Tax Service from January 15, 2019. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev announced this at a working meeting.

According to him, this will significantly reduce the time spent by entrepreneurs on submitting reports. In addition, a single state body — the State Tax Service — will deal with the inspection of compliance with tax law and legislation on state social insurance.

The number of inspections will be reduced, since they will be carried out only by tax officials.

The Chairman of the State Tax Service Tenizbek Abzhaparov said that the agency intended to work out the issue of combining the forms of licenses and insurance certificates, to develop a single form of reporting on income tax and a payroll for the state social insurance. The Tax Service expects an increase in social insurance coverage of payers of insurance premiums and an increase in revenues.

Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev instructed to promptly launch a service for submitting reports on insurance contributions to the tax authorities in an electronic form.
