Emergency Medicine Center of Bishkek to switch to overtime work

During New Year holidays, the Bishkek Center for Emergency Medicine will switch to overtime work. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported with reference to the Head physician of the center Iskender Shayakhmetov.

«From December 29, the medical center will switch to an enhanced mode of operation, which will last until January 7, 2019. The ambulance stocked up with medicines, the duty of managers was introduced. All 38 medical teams will serve to protect the health of Bishkek residents and guests of the capital,» he said.

The ministry noted that over the 11 months of 2018, the Center for Emergency Medicine has served 143,470 calls.

The Center for Emergency Medicine has 58 transport units, 33 of which are suitable for operation. With the need for 113 round-the-clock teams, only 38 actually work, there are 12.4 calls per each brigade.
