President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov today held a working meeting with the participation of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Raiymberdi Duishenbiev and the Chairman of the State Committee on Defense Affairs Erlis Terdikbaev. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted the inadequate work of commanders to ensure the proper execution of military duties by the servicemen, as well as law and order.
According to him, the facts of military crimes that have become frequent recently have a negative effect on the image of the army. This is due to the unprofessional work of commanders in the training of personnel and the lack of an effective system for the prevention of military offenses.
Facts of extortion, especially with regard to officials of the military commissariats, have been revealed in the Armed Forces.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Republic was instructed to hold a meeting with the command of the Armed Forces and take measures to prevent future military crimes.
