Rosselkhoznadzor has prevented import of almost 80 tons of products from Kyrgyzstan to Omsk Oblast of Russia. Official website of the organization reports.
Since the beginning of October, four batches of goods from the Kyrgyz Republic have been detained at the Russian-Kazakh border. Grapes, nuts, dried fruit and fresh plums with a total weight of 79.24 tons were transported with invalid phytosanitary certificates. Documents were issued to the recipient. The issuance of phytosanitary certificates to the recipient was suspended for 30 days.
Carriers were brought to administrative responsibility. All goods were returned to the sender.
