Office of the State Migration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia has received 1,786 appeals since the beginning of 2018. The press service of the agency reported.
Most of them are related to non-payment of wages — 551 applications. Appeals on 321 cases were sent to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation for taking appropriate measures. Criminal cases have been opened against the employers, who have large arrears in wages.
«With the assistance of the State Migration Service, Kyrgyz citizens, who applied on the issue of non-payment of wages, were paid 43,539 million rubles,» the agency said.
The service notes that sometimes employers do not pay salaries legally for violation of the work schedule (absence from work, delay, etc.).
Kyrgyzstanis also apply to the office of the state service on issues related to temporary registration, withdrawal from the black list, non-signing of an employment contract.
