Deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Makhabat Mavlyanova told 24.kg news agency how the migration laws should be changed.
According to her, there is a large influx of migrants from China. Therefore, the order of their stay and employment in Kyrgyzstan should be regulated. «I think quotas should be introduced. For example, it is necessary to oblige employers who hire foreigners to set a quota — 30 percent of all employees. Such a norm will help us control the influx of foreign labor,» Makhabat Mavlyanova believes.
She also says that fines should be introduced for those employers who do not comply with the requirements of the law.
Earlier, Makhabat Mavlyanova proposed to introduce a visa-free regime for tourists from China. After the users of social networks began to criticize her, the parliament member said that the meaning of her initiative had been distorted.
