Bishkek, Osh included in ranking of cities visited by Russian cities' residents

Specialists of the travel service Tutu.ru found out where the residents of Russian cities with over a million inhabitants fly most often. The ranking is published on Aviaport.ru.

Experts analyzed all the air tickets sold for the year. The countries of near abroad are on the first lines in the general ranking of the most popular foreign cities. Chisinau (Moldova) takes the first place, which accounts for about 13 percent of flights from metropolises, Yerevan (Armenia) takes the second place (the share of passengers is 7 percent), the third is Baku (Azerbaijan) — 5 percent.

As for the European cities, only Prague (Czech Republic) was in the top ten, and Tivat (Montenegro) — on 11th place. Tel Aviv (Israel) took the ninth place in the overall ranking, but there are cities — Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, from which the people often fly to Israel, it is in the top 5 there.

Up to two percent of passengers from major Russian cities choose flights to Istanbul, Dushanbe, Kiev, Osh, Larnaca, Astana, Paris, Munich, Barcelona, ​​Batumi, Berlin, Burgas, Antalya and Riga.

Passengers from Moscow prefer Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The top three most popular destinations from Nizhny Novgorod are Yerevan, Minsk and Istanbul. Residents are not indifferent to Turkey — the top ten includes Istanbul and Antalya. Tourists most often fly from Kazan to Baku, Tashkent and Minsk. The top ten also includes one of the European cities — Prague.

Most often passengers from Voronezh flew to Tashkent, Bishkek and Chisinau.
