«Violence against children is committed mainly in families with low income. Relatives often commit sexual abuse. Deputies constantly support amendments to the criminal legislation. The new version of the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure toughened punishment for pedophilia. But at the same time, the death penalty for such a crime should be introduced after judicial and law enforcement reform,» Ainuru Altybaeva said.
