Fuchik Park in Bishkek was opened after reconstruction. The press service of the Bishkek City Council reported.
The history of the park began as far back as in 1935. Since that time, no repairs have been carried out on its territory.
«Works on the improvement began last year. At least 30 million soms have been allocated for the reconstruction of Fuchik Park from the local budget,» the BCC noted.
At present, the first stage of the work has been completed. According to the mayor’s office, old lighting supports have been dismantled and 92 supports with LED spotlights, 22 surveillance cameras with 30 loudspeakers, 11 Internet access points have been installed, irrigation system has been restored.
«At least 45 benches, 3 gazebos, 13 shaded shelters, 90 litter bins and 8 pergolas have been installed for the visitors of the park,» the City Council noted.
