The government began preparations for the autumn-winter period 2018 in advance. The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev informed about this at the meeting of the republican headquarters for preparation of economic sectors and population for the heating season.
The prime minister noted that the meeting of the headquarters would be held monthly.
«There is no guarantees that the situation that happened last winter will not happen again. We know that the HPP did not work, and the townspeople froze because of the negligence of the heads of state bodies. Now we see what happened to those who were irresponsible to their duties. Criminal cases have been initiated against them,» Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev warned the officials.
The government intends to inform the population about readiness for winter from September 1.
