The Prosecutor General’s Office obtained on demand a criminal case against the ex-Minister of Internal Affairs Moldomusa Kongantiev from the State Committee for National Security following the instructions of the President. The press service of the supervisory body reported.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reminded that the case was initiated in 2010 under the Articles «Abuse of office» and «Negligence» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«Currently, this criminal case is being examined for the legality and validity of the decision, an appropriate assessment will be made on the results of the examination,» the Prosecutor General’s Office informed.
Recall, the criminal case against Moldomusa Kongantiev was dismissed because of the absence of a crime in the actions of the police general.
