Border guards detained 2,500 tons of smuggled diesel fuel at the checkpoint Chon-Kapka-Avtodorozhniy in Talas region. The Department of Public Relations and Media of the State Border Service reported.
During the inspection of three vehicles that arrived at the checkpoint, additional tanks for transportation of fuel and lubricants were found. The total amount of seized diesel fuel is about 2,500 tons.
«Citizens of Kyrgyzstan did not have any documents for fuel. The detained and seized fuel and lubricants were handed over to the employees of the territorial division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,» the State Border Service said.
