On May 3, at 8.00 pm, the police duty service of Bishkek city received a message about a suspicious object at the gates of the city hippodrome. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
According to the ministry, the employees of the Interior Ministry and the State Committee for National Security Committee left for the scene immediately. The territory of the hippodrome was cordoned off. The SCNS specialists found out that it was a rusty anti-tank mine without a fuse, not usable.
No other suspicious objects and explosive devices were found. The ammunition had already been taken to the landfill for destruction.
Currently, investigative activities are conducted to find out all the circumstances related to the detected ammunition.
