A working meeting of the members of the public headquarters of the international march «Immortal Regiment» with representatives of the Bishkek City Council took place at the Bishkek City Administration.
«This year, the route of the march will remain unchanged and will run from Victory Park at the South Gate of Bishkek along Baitik Baatyr Street to Victory Square. The length of the route is 6.6 kilometers. The streets will be closed for traffic during the march. The staff of the Bishkek police, people’s guards and volunteers will provide security. The military orchestra will head the march,» the Bishkek City Council noted.
Honorary participants in the march will be the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The State Committee for Defense Affairs will provide military vehicles especially for them.
Recall, Immortal Regiment march took place for the first time in 2014 in Osh city, Bishkek joined the march in 2015. About 30,000-35,000 people took part in it in 2017.
