The military of the CSTO Kant airbase took part in the campaign «World reads Aitmatov,» launched by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan. The video was posted on the page of the airbase on Facebook.
Online flash mob «World reads Aitmatov» was launched in January 2018. The aim of the project is to promote the writer’s heritage and form a culture of reading Aitmatov’s works.
«To participate in the campaign, one needs to record a video reading an excerpt from the works of Chingiz Aitmatov. Kyrgyzstanis studying abroad can read an excerpt in the language of the host country. Foreign students, studying in Kyrgyzstan, can also participate in the flash mob,» the Ministry of Education said.
